Lloyd and Johnna were wonderful hosts. Very kind and helpful with tons of suggestions on what to see and do in the area and directions on how to get there. House was very charming (circa 1835, adapted as a B&B). Breakfast, prepared by Lloyd and served by Johnna on the side porch, was awesome! There is a lovely, inviting wraparound porch with an abundance of chairs and settees and lots of benches and chairs dotting the grounds to ensconce yourself in ... perfect for whiling away the hours with a book and a drink and enjoy gorgeous mountain views during the day and a symphony of frogs and crickets at night. This is a very dog-friendly place with a couple of house dogs and a bunch of outdoor cats, so if you're allergic to pet hair, this is not the place for you, but if you're an animal lover like I am, you will feel right at home. Will definitely stay again and time my arrival for Friday afternoon so I can make it for one of the farm-to-table dinners which I hear are great.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Stovall House Inn. It is in a beautiful, picturesque area, and I felt my senses renewed, after just a weekend there. The inn itself is lovely; wonderful old furniture pieces, and tastefully decorated, not to mention the huge, relaxing porch. The owners are so friendly and warm; I was greeted in the morning with a "How did you sleep?", and it made me feel like I was staying with friends or nice family. I only ate breakfast, but I would love to try their dinners! They were so nice to offer some vegan options for my daughter, and everything was delicious. I will come back!

Just leaving from a long weekend spent here... it was fantastic. It felt so much like home. The atmosphere was incredibly warm, the nights were perfectly cool, it was friendly, and clean... and the porch was just so amazing. Do go and visit them... they won't disappoint you!

It is a gorgeous setting for a beautiful outdoor wedding. I never went inside so I can't speak about that.

The hosts did a fantastic job of making us feel like old friends the moment we walked in the door. A big plus is the availability of vegetarian and vegan food on the menu that changes daily. We will definitely stay again when in the area.
